Canoagem Argonautas (Canoe Argonauts) is a local paddling club based in Belem, Brazil. With a new facility on the river to house their equipment, Canoagem Argonautas are a group of passionate paddlers who love to get people out on the water.
The AECAVBEL is an association based in Belem that works to defend and preserve the waters in the state of Para. One of our many fine hosts in Belem, Prof. Mas. Evaldo Malato runs and promotes the association with paddling.
While in Belem, we were treated like royalty by the Argonautas. They fed us, they housed us, they even put clothes on our backs. Needless to say, they were outstanding hosts and we would not have survived our time in Belem without them.
